A RESOLUTION urging the creation of a free and independent Palestinian state.

Whereas, the unsettled situation in the land where the Prince of Peace was born has been the cause of extreme expense and trouble for the United States and the world; and

Whereas, there can be no lasting peace or justice until the harsh occupation by Israel ends and the Palestinians have a free and independent state; and

Whereas, this conflict has the potential of igniting World War III; and

Whereas, Jerusalem is sacred to the 3 major monotheistic religions and history has demonstrated that if it is under the control of one religion, the others have not had free access to the place of peace; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the Palestinians should have a free and independent state; and

That Jerusalem should be placed under international control; and

That copies of this resolution, signed by the president of the senate and the speaker of the house, be forwarded by the house clerk to the President of the United States and the members of the New Hampshire congressional delegation.
