HB 675 FISCAL NOTE

AN ACT relative to enhanced 911 reimbursements to commercial mobile radio service providers.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The Bureau of Emergency Communications states this bill will have no fiscal impact on state, county, and local revenue or expenditures.

METHODOLOGY:

The Bureau states this bill modifies the provisions relating to eligibility for enhanced 911 reimbursements by commercial mobile radio service providers, and intends to prevent unreasonable requests for reimbursement for cellular carriers infrastructure costs. This bill will have no fiscal impact since both the current and proposed version of RSA 106-H:8 do not automatically entitle providers to reimbursements, and require the Enhanced 911 Commission to approve any such reimbursement requests.
