STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Two
AN ACT granting probate courts the power to issue attachments and levies of execution.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
47:1 New Section; Probate Courts; Power to Issue Attachments and Levies of Execution. Amend RSA 547 by inserting after section 3-i the following new section:
547:3-j Attachments, Executions, and Levies. The probate court may issue attachments and levies of execution on personal property and real estate in affording redress for causes within its jurisdiction in the same manner as the superior court may under RSA 511, RSA 511-A, RSA 528, and RSA 529 for causes within its jurisdiction.
47:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
