SB 166-FN - FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT relative to processing applications for the children's health insurance program (CHIP).
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Department of Health and Human Services indicated this bill will have no fiscal impact on state, county and local revenue or expenditures.
METHODOLOGY:
The Department indicated that it has already assigned two employees to the New Hampshire Healthy Kids Corporation to help process applications for the children's health insurance program. The Department states that there are two case technicians paid at labor grade 12 assigned to this program. The Department assumes that two employees are sufficient and this bill would require the employees to continue working for the program.
