AN ACT relative to the definition of "funeral home."
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Funeral Home; Definition. Amend RSA 325:1, IX to read as follows:
IX. "Funeral home" means every place or premise devoted to or used in the care and preparation for the funeral and burial of dead human bodies [or] and maintained for the convenience of the bereaved for viewing or other services in connection with dead human bodies [or] and as an office or place for carrying on the profession of funeral directing.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
