SENATE BILL 58
This bill provides that an applicant for a license as a distributor of bingo supplies or lucky 7 tickets shall have a principal place of business located within this state, eliminating certain residency requirements.
This bill was requested by the sweepstakes commission.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand One
AN ACT revising the requirements for a license as a bingo supplies or lucky 7 tickets distributor.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
145:1 Distributors and Manufacturers of Bingo Supplies and Equipment; Issuance of Licenses. Amend RSA 287-E:8-a, IV to read as follows:
IV. An applicant for a license as a distributor shall [be a resident of this state whose] have a principal place of business [is] located within this state[, and shall have been a resident of this state for at least 2 years immediately prior to the date of application].
145:2 Distributors and Manufacturers of Lucky 7 Tickets; Issuance of Licenses. Amend RSA 287-E:23, IV to read as follows:
IV. An applicant for a license as a distributor shall [be a resident of this state whose] have a principal place of business [is] located within this state [and shall have been a resident of this state for at least 2 years immediately prior to the date of application].
145:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
