STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand One
AN ACT permitting unmarried adults to adopt jointly.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Who May Adopt; Adoption by 2 Unmarried Adults. Amend RSA 170-B:4 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:
VI. Two unmarried adults together.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2002.
