AN ACT directing the public water access advisory board to prepare a report relating to the types of public access and recreational uses appropriate to different types of public bodies of water.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Fish and Game Department stated this bill may have an indeterminable fiscal impact on fish and game expenditures in FY 2000 and FY 2001. There will be no fiscal impact on county and local expenditures or state, county and local revenues.
METHODOLOGY:
The Department is required to provide administrative support for the Public Access Advisory Board. Specifically, the Department would be required to provide secretarial support, post and mail meeting notices, and copying and printing costs. The Department assumes the actual drafting and compilation of the report will be done by the Public Access Advisory Board, however, if significant additional administrative responsibilities are shifted to the Department, additional staff may be required.
