HOUSE BILL 1534
This bill requires a bank or other financial institution to make funds available on cash, a treasurer's check, a government-issued check, or a check issued by such bank or financial institution on the date the cash or check is deposited in an account of such bank or financial institution.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand
AN ACT relative to availability of funds on cash and checks deposited.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Subdivision; Availability of Funds. Amend RSA 384 by inserting after section 66 the following new subdivision:
384:67 Availability of Funds. A bank or financial institution subject to the provisions of this chapter shall make funds available on cash, a treasurer's check, a government-issued check, or any check issued by such bank or financial institution on the date the cash or check is deposited in an account of such bank or financial institution.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2001.
