HB 1355-FN-A - FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT authorizing funding for a hydrodynamic study of the Hampton/Seabrook harbor and estuarine system.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The N.H. Port Authority has determined this bill will increase state expenditures by $386,177 in FY 2001. There will be no fiscal impact on county and local expenditures or state, county, and local revenue.
METHODOLOGY:
The Authority stated that of the original $1,700,000 general fund bond authorization for maintenance dredging of Hampton/Seabrook Harbor, $1,295,084 has been spent through October 31, 1999, leaving an unexpended balance of $396,324 that is scheduled to lapse June 30, 2000. This bill extends the authorization through June 30, 2001 and expands the purpose of the original appropriation to include a hydrodynamic study of Hampton/Seabrook Harbor and estuarine system. The study is estimated to cost $386,177.
