STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand
AN ACT allowing the public employee labor relations board to decertify a bargaining unit.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Bargaining Unit; Decertification by Board. Amend RSA 273-A:8 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:
IV. The board or its designee may decertify a bargaining unit previously certified under this section upon petition of the public employer of the bargaining unit, provided that the number of employees with a community of interest in the bargaining unit falls below 8 eligible employees for a continuous period of at least 2 years.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
