HB 1180-FN - FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT relative to separating the budget for New Hampshire public television from the university system of New Hampshire budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The University System of New Hampshire (USNH) indicates this bill may have an indeterminable fiscal impact on University System expenditures in FY 2001 and each year thereafter. There will be no fiscal impact on state, county and local revenue or expenditures.
METHODOLOGY:
The USNH states this bill prohibits the University System Board of Trustees from exercising the authority to transfer state appropriations from New Hampshire Public Television to other institutions of the University System. The restriction may impact on the delivery of services to New Hampshire residents either through New Hampshire Public Television, or the other institutions in the University System, however, the University System is unable to make any direct calculation to that effect.
