Committee Function:
It shall be the duty of the Committee on State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs to consider all matters pertaining to the National Guard and other military or veterans’ organizations within the state, potential actions by the U.S. Congress which will have a major impact on the state and the New England region, and all proposed resolutions petitioning the Congress on any matter; to maintain communication with the congressional delegation; to serve as a liaison between the New Hampshire House and the United States Congress; emergency management; and such other matters as may be referred to it.

Personal Biography
Cindy grew up in New Hampshire, living in Manchester, Merrimack, Swanzey Center, and Dublin until the age of 18. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Math Education in South Carolina, where she lived for several years before moving to Wisconsin and eventually returning to New Hampshire. Her family spent 4 years in Londonderry and subsequently moved to Raymond and has been there for the past 26 years.

As a devoted wife, mother of 13, and grandmother of 9, Cindy dedicated 15 years to homeschooling her children, providing them with a strong academic and moral foundation. For the past decade, she has continued her passion for education by teaching math in Christian schools throughout New Hampshire.
Local Government Involvement
Cindy’s commitment to public service began with her election to the Raymond School Board in 2022, where she completed a successful three-year term which ended in 2025. She also contributes to her community as a member of the town’s Ethics Committee and a trustee of the Dudley-Tucker Library Board. Additionally, Cindy actively supports and mentors fellow community members involved in local boards and committees, promoting civic engagement and ethical leadership.
Miscellaneous Information:
Cindy’s life is deeply rooted in faith and community. She enjoys gardening, knitting, playing the piano, singing traditional hymns, and studying the Bible. Her passion for serving others extends to inspiring community members to take on leadership roles and with encouragement to serve on local boards and being active in the local government.
