Personal Biography
After practicing law for 8 years, James is now the Land Protection Specialist at the Harris Center for Conservation Education, a local area land trust that has protected over 25,000 acres.
James has degrees in Public Policy and Management (BS, Wharton School, Univ. of Pennsylvania), Law (JD, Washington Univ. in St. Louis), and Resource Management and Conservation (MS, Antioch Univ. New England).
James and his wife Susanna live in Hopkinton and have twin boys in college.
Local Government Involvement
James serves as Hopkinton's School Meeting Moderator (10 years), and has served on the Conservation Commission, 4 years as Chair, and on the Library Foundation Chair, 6 years as chair.
Miscellaneous Information:
James enjoys fishing and fly tying, has his commercial drone pilot certificate, referees youth and high school lacrosse, and is a member of the Hopkinton Rotary Club (two terms president).
