Committee Function:It shall be the duty of the Committee on Resources, Recreation and Development to consider all matters relating to natural resources, water pollution and control; parks and recreational areas; recreational industries; matters concerning state controls on property development; and such other matters as may be referred to it.
Personal Biography
A New Hampshire native, I am a graduate of our public school system, and an alumnus of the University of New Hampshire and Boston University School of Law.
I have spent my career working for the betterment of our communities and defending hospitals, doctors, architects, and engineers, and representing New Hampshire school districts, towns, and boards.
From 2012 to 2019, I worked as an insurance adjuster and then as an in-house attorney for a New Hampshire-based insurance company, giving me firsthand experience in addressing complex legal and financial challenges.
I have co-led a family-run business, Lamont, Hanley & Associates, Inc., with my sister since 2019. We employ sixty hardworking people in the Manchester Millyard, and have built a company recognized as the Best-Place-to-Work in collections. My role involves ensuring our employees' success and that together we address rising costs like property taxes, housing, childcare, and health insurance.
During my tenure, we have increased employee pay and maintained our status as a Best-Place-to-Work all while increasing profitability. As a business leader, and now as the Chief Legal and Strategy Officer, I have developed fiscally responsible, practical solutions to address the challenges facing small businesses. These skills I bring to the State House for Newbury and New London.
