It shall be the duty of the Committee on Public Works and Highways to consider all matters pertaining to the development and repair of public highways; the Highway Fund; the Turnpike Fund; buildings and capital construction; the capital budget; matters pertaining to state bonding authority; capital expenditures related to the improvement and preservation of the coastline; the care of state memorials and monuments; and such other matters as may be referred to it.

Personal Biography
Originally from Medford, Massachusetts, Bill is a 1991 graduate of Boston College with a degree in Political Science. Married to his wife, Michele, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, for 20 years, they have a daughter, Jade, who is a student studying psychology and child development. Professionally, Bill has been employed as a real estate title examiner for over 20 years.
