Personal Biography
My name is Suzanne Chretien and I am a retired Manchester School Teacher and Literacy Coach.
I have lived in Manchester most of my life. I have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.
I raised my 2 sons as a single parent. They attended Manchester Public Schools and both attended the University of NH. My oldest son got his Masters at California State, Chico.
I recently taught English as a second language to newcomers with the Sisters of Mercy.
I have been involved in Manchester organizations that look for solutions to help people living in poverty, especially the homeless. I am looking forward to my time as a State Representative.
Local Government Involvement
I have testified before the Manchester Board of Mayor and Alderman and the School Board on many issues.
Miscellaneous Information:
I look forward to working across the isle. That is very important to me to listen, try to understand their point of view and to share mine.
