It shall be the duty of the Committee on Resources, Recreation and Development to consider all matters relating to natural resources, water pollution and control; parks and recreational areas; recreational industries; matters concerning state controls on property development; and such other matters as may be referred to it.

Personal Biography
Nicholas Bridle serves as the State Representative for Hampton, New Hampshire, where his work reflects a lifelong commitment to public service, community engagement, and strengthening the Seacoast’s economy. First elected in 2024, he has distinguished himself as a thoughtful legislator with a focus on tourism, public safety, economic development, and coastal resiliency.

A Hampton native and graduate of Winnacunnet High School, Representative Bridle earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scouts of America Troop 177 before pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice/Emergency Management. He began his career as a Probation/Parole Officer in North Carolina before returning to New Hampshire, where he worked in emergency communications with the Derry Fire Department, served as President of the New Hampshire Emergency Dispatchers Association, and founded the Derry Fire Fighters Charitable Organization.

In Concord, he serves on the Resources, Recreation and Development Committee, applying both professional and community experience to issues ranging from state parks and tourism to conservation and recreation policy. Beyond the State House, Representative Bridle directs the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival and the Hampton Holiday Parade, two of New Hampshire’s largest and most celebrated community events, which bring tens of thousands of visitors to the Seacoast each year.

Family-oriented and community-minded, Nicholas Bridle lives in Hampton with his wife, Kelley, and their daughter. He views public service as both an honor and a responsibility, dedicated to ensuring Hampton and New Hampshire thrive for future generations.
