It shall be the duty of the Committee on Finance to examine and consider the state of the treasury and the budget; subjects concerning the financial interest of the state; all measures carrying appropriations of state money except claims against the state and such other matters as may be referred to it. Prior to the report of the Finance Committee to the House, the Speaker may refer the budget of certain self-sustaining state agencies to appropriate committees for study and recommendation.

Born in 1960. Victoria De Las Tunas, CUBA. Escaped Castro regime in 1965. (Legal immigrant to the U.S.).
Became a U.S. Citizen in June 1973. Honors student at Boston Technical High School.
Earned B.S. Industrial Engineering Northeastern Univ. 1983. MBA Operations Management UMass Lowell 1987.
Engineer / Engineering Executive for 35 years: Wang Labs, Cal-Comp, Sanders, Lockheed, BAE Systems.
Retired at age 55 in 2015 and ran for NH State Rep. in 2018.
Ran for NH State Rep. and won Merrimack County District 9 for 2021-22. Served on ST&E Committee.
Was re-elected for Merrimack County District 4 for 2023-24 & 2025-26. Serve on Finance Committee Division 1.
Was appointed Vice-Chair of Finance Comm. Division 1 for 2025-26.
Local Government Involvement
Member of Merrimack County Republican Committee. Was Treasurer from 2017- 2024.
NH Republican State Delegate from 2018 to present.
Board of Directors for Clough Pond Association from 2016 till 2022.
Member of Merrimack County delegation.
Member of Commission to Study Offshore Wind and Port Development.

Retired (2015) Engineering Executive from BAE Systems in Nashua, NH.
Married to Allison Cambrils.
