Committee Function:It shall be the duty of the Committee on Election Law to consider all matters relating to the election laws of the state, including campaign finance, the Ballot Law Commission, redistricting, and such other matters as may be referred to it.
Personal Biography
I grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire and was graduated by Central High School - in a time when Manchester was full of budding comedians. I wasn't that funny, so went to graduate school. Eventually I became a university teacher, which took me to the Boston, the Berkshires, Austin Texas and eventually Dartmouth College, where I now work. My wife is a proscutor in New Hampshire, and my children are in high school and Hanover High. My teaching focuses on the ideas and institutions of constitutional democracy.
Local Government Involvement
My local involvement has focused on youth sports - more anarchy than government.
