Committee Function:It shall be the duty of the Committee on Public Works and Highways to consider all matters pertaining to the development and repair of public highways; the Highway Fund; the Turnpike Fund; buildings and capital construction; the capital budget; matters pertaining to state bonding authority; capital expenditures related to the improvement and preservation of the coastline; the care of state memorials and monuments; and such other matters as may be referred to it.
Personal Biography
I was born and raised in Western NYS - Rochester. Subsequent to life in Rochester, I had life and living experiences in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, Daytona Beach, FL, Griffin, Georgia and Leesburg, VA, before moving to Nashua, NH in 1981. I worked for Eastman Kodak, when living in Rochester; and after that worked at a Hospital and Bank in FL, at the University of Georgia, and became a licensed Realtor, after moving to NH.
Local Government Involvement
I've been an elected Nashua Selectman, a Board of Education Member for 8 years in Nashua, and a State Rep. from Nashua (first elected in 2016). This will be my Fifth term at the NH General Court.
Miscellaneous Information:
Rep. Ray Newman and myself have served together as Nashua Reps. at the NH Statehouse, since his election in 2018...and we have continued to sit alongside each other throughout our time together at the NH General Court!
We have 3 grown children, 6 terrific Grandchildren.
