State Rep and House Ways & Means Committee member since 2012. Member, 2020-2021 Commission to Study School Funding. Chair, 2013 NH Gaming Regulatory Oversight Authority. Worked for 20 years as attorney/general counsel/manager for Massachusetts public education and human service agencies, and for 16 years as attorney in MA for mentally ill and mentally disabled persons and their families. Graduate, Harvard College and Harvard Law School. US Peace Corps Volunteer, Philippines, 1968-1970. Parent of 3, grandparent of 7; married to Heather Woods Ames since 1967.
