CACR12 will keep the economy rigged against working people. It’s a stunt to amend the constitution to restrict the ability of future legislators to change how we raise revenues. This bill is designed to protect tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy while cutting state revenue and hurting the rest of us. When the state brings in less revenue, state costs don’t disappear—they simply get pushed onto regular people via higher property taxes and everyday expenses. TLDR: This bill is a travesty for working people and a boon for the rich. It's a disgrace.
