Private insurances have been restricting access to needed healthcare on the basis of maximizing profits. However, if people are able to participate in medical care at a location they choose and in a timely fashion, they could cost their insurance less costs overall from decreased risk of complications or developing chronic dysfunction. In the rural regions of the state, access to care is already limited by a variety of factors, insurance should not be one of them.
