As a retired child and family therapist, I can attest to the high rates of success achieved by clients and their families who were able to access wraparound services as addressed by this bill. Of course, all were able to gain access because the child/youth was covered by Medicaid. It was a travesty to have to witness other families and children struggle with sometimes impossible situations because private insurances refuse to cover this critical care. Please stop such unconscionable denial of services by voting OTP on SB498.
