We all know that there is a mental health crisis amongst young people, but yet there never seems to be any action taken toward mitigating this crisis in our state. When we've had to refer our own children for basic therapy services, we were put on waitlist after waitlist. I can't imagine what we would have done or where we would have gone if this had turned into an emergency. We pay a high premium for healthcare, which should allow access to necessary wraparound services no matter the type of care needed. Please close this gap so that we can help our young people navigate these challenges and build a healthier community for the future!
