I walk from my house to town frequently. Even though I am on a sidewalk it is still very disconcerting have traffic zooming by very close to the sidewalk. There are a number of others, including little kids on scooters and people walking dogs, who also use the sidewalk. Hanover is trying to address the problem and giving the town the option to reduce the posted speed limit on roads used by numerous pedestrians and bicyclists is a tool that should be in their tool box.
