This bill puts vulnerable students at risk by forcing them to be in a potentially hostile situation. Locker rooms are away from the protective watch of teachers and administrators and are a place where bullying is more prevalent. Forcing trans students to use a locker room not aligning with their gender identity can be a scary, intimidating, and traumatic experience.
