At support meetings, I've met multiple families with loved ones struggling with an addiction to kratom. I've learned that kratom is highly addictive, causes health risks and radically altered the lives of those addicted to it. These heartbreaking family stories are why I'm writing to urge you to vote to pass SB 557, a critical bill that protects youth from early substance use.
