I am a New Jersey resident writing to support SB 557 as passed by the Senate and to respectfully ask that it is not amended to include natural kratom leaf. Thank you for taking action to address and differentiate synthetic and highly concentrated products from natural leaf Kratom. Targeting those substances is the correct, science-based way to protect public health. This bill aligns with federal recommendations to focus on concentrated 7-OH, while leaving natural leaf alone.
