History shows us that governments that limit or restrict access to information through book bans and other censorship actions, do not typically find themselves on the side of the "good guys." Educators should be trusted to build inclusive and thoughtful classrooms where students can critically engage with a variety of age-appropriate materials, and not create easy mechanisms for censorship.
