This is one more censorship bill, like the one the Governor vetoed recently. Granite staters don’t want book bans. One person’s complaint shouldn’t limit what’s available for others. If passed this will lead to legal challenges and unnecessary expenditures at a time when the state is failing to address problems like inadequate child care options, availability of affordable housing, and access to healthcare. As a policy, censorship is never a good idea. Do not recommend this bill for legislation. Vote ITL.
