Please oppose this bill. It would further stress our teachers! It will make them have to question if it is safe to present all kinds of materials! Students need to learn to judge content, that is part of education! And students benefit from having a variety of media used in education! “This bill goes way beyond school library book bans and would allow political actors to ban, censor, and remove almost everything in a school.” The bill specifically includes “books, magazines, motion picture films or videos, pamphlets, phonographic records, pictures, drawings, photographs, figures, statues, plays, dances, or other representations.”
