"Biological sex" is just another label for getting people to agree to discrimination against transgender people. Biology isn't binary...the "science" used to promote this view is outdated, and that makes for promotion of legislation to create danger for the least dangerous segment of the population. It does not promote safety for women or girls...it does the opposite. Trans people aren't dangerous. Trans women (the real targets of this legislation) are not men, don't think like men, don't behave like men--this is why we are bullied throughout our youth and called "girly" and "sissy" and "faggot". And yet the sponsors of this bill and those who think like them tell everyone that these same "sissies" are so dangerous they must be arrested and hidden away and kept away from society. Does this make sense to you? We are not dangerous. We don't want to assault your daughters or your wives or sisters. We are some of the most empathetic and compassionate people you will ever talk with because we've been targets of hate all our lives. Just talk with us and listen to us. This bill creates danger, both for trans women and for cis women. I urge you to veto this bill.
