If you ban kratom, or make access to kratom more difficult, you will see an increase in actual hard drug use, and overdoses. Kratom is a miracle plant that helped my brothers and I get off hard drugs, and it would have saved my father, who was overprescribed pharmaceuticals by doctors who had been swayed by big pharmaceutical companies. Kratom is not perfect by any means, but compared to Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Alcohol, or tobacco, it is safe and effective. In states without access to kratom, the fentanyl Overdoses are higher, in states with access to kratom there are far fewer overdoses of opiates or other street drugs.
