I oppose SB434 because it will erode educational integrity and local decision-making. It's time to trust our educators and allow New Hampshire students to live, learn, and read without State interference. Schools have established policies that already allow parents, students, and community members to challenge instructional materials. Furthermore, certified library media specialists in New Hampshire schools, with their training, know how to make informed decisions about educational resources without political interference. Let them do their job.
