I urge you to support the bipartisan bill SB 538. We need to safeguard net metering programs and ensure that renewable energy can compete fairly, setting New Hampshire on a path to a sustainable, clean energy future. The current energy market and situation in the Middle East underscore the urgency to move more quickly toward energy resilience, which better protects us from volatile global markets. Solutions are available to us now, including distributed solar energy systems. With effective policies, such as SB 538, we can secure the investments needed to expand these systems and strengthen our local energy economy, while providing more control over our energy future and costs. Across the state, local energy committees are diligently working in this arena, on projects to benefit their communities. Please support this work and vote YES on SB 538.
