Matthew Chaves

I am opposed to this bill due to its sweeping generalization for allowance to find material “inappropriate”. The language in the bill seems to indicate that anyone could oppose any material they find harmful. Also, the bill seems rife for abuse, and may be used to force views, or control access, to materials other people may not agree with. There are already educational boards/controls in place to address materials educators may find questionable. There is no avenue for experts to be included in the processes the bill proposes. I oppose this bill.
