While we are fortunate enough to have our own solar panels, and have enjoyed the savings from that investment, I am also aware that not everyone is in a financial position to invest in renewable energy sources like solar panels for their own residence. That's why I'm asking for your support for SB449, SB538 and SB540 - to help encourage municipal solar projects that whole communities can benefit from by improving the net metering terms in ways that make these projects an attractive investment, and to further make it possible for residents to enjoy the benefits of solar "from their balconies" without as large an investment as panels.
