Grandparents and Kinship Caregivers need to have assistance with child care. These are caregivers who have stepped up to raise their grandchildren in their retirement years. There is substantial research which shows children feel more secure when raised by kinship family members vs in foster care. Please support SB608 so that these families have a way to access childcare even when the caregiver is retired.
