Non-germane amendment 2026-1231h to SB 572 is bad for NH. It would ban DHHS and local communities from using public funds to advertise or otherwise promote vaccines. This bill follows in the steps of US Secretary of Health and Human Services RFK Jr.'s anti-science war on vaccines. NH is better than that. This bill would ban our state health department and local communities from even telling families when vaccines are available, including during an outbreak. It would silence the state's ability to communicate with families about vaccine-preventable diseases and eliminate educational resources for health care providers. When we trust politicians, not doctors and scientists, to guide public health decisions, we put all NH citizens at risk.
