This bill again highlights the egregious lack of responsibility by our lawmakers of truly funding local education. Open enrollment and other tenants of this bill divide richer and poorer communities who already struggle under increasing property taxes to pay for education funding denied by the state. It is the Free State/ Libertarian position of denying a free and local education, so those with financial means can pocket desperately needed education funding for poorer communities. To what end-to pay for another vacation?
