The title of SB552, "permitting classification of individuals based on biological sex under certain limited circumstances," is an attempt to mislead the public and uninformed legislators (though, I hope there are none) into believing it will only be used occasionally. The Fourth Amendment of our Constitution guarantees: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures...." In reality, this bill is an anti-trans bathroom & sports ban that has the potential to unlawfully reach into people's private lives and even their bodies. If it were not so horrifying to imagine an "Inspector of Genitals," it would be funny.
