Cyanobacteria blooms are increasing throughout New Hampshire. These blooms threaten drinking water, recreation and local economies relying on tourist's and seasonal resident's spending during the spring, summer and fall seasons. NH has a cyanobacteria mitigation fund which is currently being depleted. SB 598 will help develop long term funding solutions to help battle the increasing risk of cyanobacteria blooms throughout the State of New Hampshire.
