James and Deborah Jensen | Support SB598

Our family has owned a modest camp on Lake Armington for three generations. We are actively engaged with our neighbors in an association and cooperate to protect the quality of the water and surrounding areas as much as possible. Contending with a cyanobacteria bloom would be prohibitively expensive without some support from the state. We have dealt with invasive species in the past at the expense of our members who donate, but cyanabacteria would represent another level of expense beyond our collective means. I'm sure this is true for other lakes in NH. Please pass this bill to create a sustainable source of funding for these efforts to maintain NH's beautiful lakes for future generations.
