Cyanobacteria blooms are toxic to humans and all animals, pets and wildlife. We need to be able to study ways to not only reduce these blooms, reduce their impact and frequency but to treat all occurrences. Cyanobacteria blooms effect our recreational economy and our state's budget. A fund to help address this is key. There are many individuals and organizations that are attempting to address this issue but they have limited recourse. This is a statewide issue so with the help of the state these organizations can be much more effective benefitting the local and state economy.
