Nancy Guzik

I oppose the non-germane amendment, which is the text of HB 1616. This bill would prohibit our state health department and local communities from even notifying families when vaccines are available—including during an outbreak. It would effectively silence the state’s ability to communicate about vaccine-preventable diseases at the very moments when clear, accurate information matters most, and it would strip away essential educational resources for health care providers. This proposal is part of a broader anti-vaccine, anti-science push led by figures like RFK Jr. and others advancing similar agendas. The ripple effects of decisions made in Washington are reaching New Hampshire, putting our children’s health at risk. Public health decisions should be guided by doctors and scientists—not politicians. Sincerely, Nancy Guzik Walpole, NH
