The AG did an investigation and cleared Karen of wrongdoing in December. They even pointed out that this type of work is typical for elected officials and gave examples of Republicans who have used their official emails to advocate for their constituents. This impeachment effort is a disengenuous, obvious attempt to remove the one elected Democrat from the Council for an invalid reason. In this case where the AG has already determined there is no wrongdoing, a lengthy and costly impeachment process is a waste of taxpayer time and money.
