I am writing in support of HB 1593. For people like me, equal access is not an abstract idea, it affects everyday life. Whether it is accessing services, programs, or information, communication access and fair treatment matter. As a Deaf person, I know how important it is to have equal access and a clear way to address barriers when they happen.
