I am writing in support of HB1416 "Care Act". My wife works at Haven Pregnancy Services in Plymouth, NH, so I know all the good work that they do in helping women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy. They provide help and resources to them from the time that they find out that they're pregnant until their child starts school. All of Haven's services are free and confidential as well. They provide classes so they can learn everything that they are interested in learning from what to expect during the pregnancy, childbirth, parenting, budgeting, money management, and healthy relationships. They also test and treat men and women for STI's with antibiotics if they test positive.
